 22nd December 1967

Over 50 old folk from Edingale and Harlaston attended a Christmas party in the Village Hall at Edingale on Saturday. After a sit-down Christmas meal - turkey, ham, trifle and all the trimmings- they were entertained by singer Mrs. Janet Duggins and a magician Major Bernard Pearson, a member of Wolverhampton Magic Circle. Among the guests present were Mrs. Arnold Ward, R.D.C. representative for Harlaston, and Mr. A.A. Simpson R.D.C. representative for Edingale, the Vicar of Edingale and Rector of Harlaston (the Rev. A. Jones) and the chairman of the committee (Mr. Alf Green)
