£6000 raised for MNDA
£6000 raised for MNDA
Fabulous fundraising has exceeded one villages expectations as generous residents keep on giving.
Harlaston has raised more than £6000 for the Motor Neurone Disease Association.
The village origionally set a target of £2000 when they held an event for the charity on March 24. The evening included a service, meal, magic and a charity auction at the Village Hall. Since the event support continued to grow and donations kept flooding in.
Sharon King, a MNDA representative, was presented with a cheque for the total at St. Matthew's Church, Harlaston, earlier this month.
Tea, coffee and cake were available after thepresentation for the village to celebrate.
