Patricia Dicken, 26, Manor Lane

Pat and Des moved into Manor Lane when the new houses were built in the 1960's, as did other neighbours - Joan, Rosemary and Margaret. Today members of the same families still live in the same houses. Pat was a keen walker and she and Joan used to walk the village pathways every week prepared with a plastic bag and a grabber. They were affectionately known as the 'Litter Pick Ladies'. Her funeral will take place at St. Matthew's Church on Monday December 22nd and we send our deepest sympathy to Alan, Jule and all the grandchildren.
